Uji Aktivitas Antiradang Senyawa Asam O-(4-Klorobenzoil) Salisilat Pada Tikus (Rattus Novergicus)

This research aims to determine anti inflammatory activity of O-
(4-chlorobenzoyl)salicilyc acid and O-acetylsalicilyc acid. The activity test
has been done by the injection of carragenan 1% in intraplanar in rats. The
anti inflammatory activity was measured as presentage of edema inhibition.
The result revealed that the compound O-(4-
chlorobenzoyl)salicilyc acid has anti inflammatory activity with doses of
2,5 mg/200 g, 5 mg/200 g, 10 mg/200 g body weight. By Anova test, it
showed that O-(4-chlorobenzoyl)salicilyc acid has same anti inflammatory
activity compared with O-acetylsalicilyc acid.
